REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT

1 Perform preparation procedures
2 Remove the hood
3 Remove the fax/modem
4 Remove the system board bracket
5 Remove the processor
6 Remove the memory module
7 Remove the video expansion module
8 Remove the six screws from the system board (may differ slightly) and separate it from the bracket

To replace the system board, reverse this procedure.

NOTE:

The system board spare part kit does not include the processor, cache, DIMM, or video expansion module. The components must be transferred from the old system board to the new system board.
