REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT System Board Components Removing the Heat Sink Clip (on selected models) 1 Perform preparation procedures 2 Remove the hood 3 Remove the fax-modem 4 Remove the system board bracket 5 Remove the processor 6 Remove the system board and separate it from the bracket 7 Locate the two inserts under the system board that secure the heat sink clip and unplug from the system board 8 Remove the heat sink clip from the system board To replace the heat sink clip, reverse this procedure.
