Fax/modem

1 Perform preparation procedures.
2 Remove the hood.
3 Remove the screw holding the fax/modem bracket to the chassis and pull the fax/modem out of slot.

Note: If other option cards are installed, you may need to remove these before removing the fax/modem.
For 5070, 5184, and 5185 models, the fax/modem is located in the top slot above the two option slots.

To replace the fax/modem, reverse this procedure.

IMPORTANT:

When replacing the fax/modem, download the latest software from SoftPaq. If QuickRestore is used, it may not have the 56K upgrade software included.
