REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT Power Supply 1 Perform preparation procedures 2 Remove the hood 3 Remove the fax/modem and any other option cards. 4 Remove the system board bracket 5 Disconnect the power cables to these mass storage devices: 3.5" hard drive or 5.25" hard drive CD or DVD drive Zip drive (available on select models) diskette drive or SuperDisk drive (available on select models) 6 Remove the four screws that secure the power supply to the rear of the chassis 7 Slide the power supply back and remove from the chassis. To replace the power supply, reverse this procedure.
