JP 1 . FLASH BIOS WRITE OPTION

1-2 - DISABLE FLASH BIOS UPDATE/WRITING (+5V)
2-3 - ENABLE FLASH BIOS UPDATE/WRITE (+12V)

 

 

JP 5 (1-2 pins). CLEAR CMOS

Erase all information (password, setup settings) in non-volatile memory  (CMOS).

SHORT (CLOSED) - CLEAR CMOS
OPEN - NORMAL

To clear CMOS short 1-2 pins of JP5. Power ON your computer, after memory test count power off computer, open JP5. Power On computer, press DEL key, reconfigure your system.

NOTE. This settings valid for Intel CPUs. Settings for other CPUs may have some differences on non-standart (51, 62, 69,75 MHz) frequencies: for AMD K5 CPUs 75 MHz jumpers settings are (2-3,2-3,1-2), 62 MHz - (2-3,1-2,1-2).

NOTE. This setings are valid for Intel Pentium CPUs only. Other CPUs may have some differencies:

  1. For AMD K5 PR 120/133 multiplier settings 1.5 and 2.0 valid as 1.5; 2.5 and 3.0 - 2.0
  2. For AMD K5 PR 150/166 multiplier 2.5 valid as 1.75
  3. For CYRIX 6X86 processors multipliers 1.5 AND 2.0 valid as 2.0 .
