Beep Symptoms (Netfinity 7000-M10 - Type 8680)



Beep Symptoms

Beep symptoms are short tones or a series of short tones separated by pauses (intervals without sound).
See the following examples.

Note: One beeps after successfully completing POST indicated the system is functioning properly.

Beeps    Description
1-2-3    ° One beep
     ° A pause (or break)
     ° Two beeps
     ° A pause (or break)
     ° Three beeps
4    Four continuous beeps

3-3-2 1. Disconnect the server power cord from outlet,
(Critical SMBUS error occurred)     wait 30 seconds and retry.
