preparation procedures. |

Remove the
hood. |

Remove the screw holding the
option card retainer bracket to the chassis. |

Remove the option card retainer
bracket, then carefully pull the fax/modem board out of the riser card. |
To replace the fax/modem, reverse this sequence.

When replacing
the fax/modem, download the latest software from SoftPaq. If QuickRestore is used, it may
not have the 56K or V.90 upgrade software included. |
