Software Installation for Windows

Installing Audiovation Software for Windows 

1.  Start with the Audiovation hardware installed, the ConfigurationInformation updated.  Windows running, and all other Windows applications closed. Do not start Windows from  DOSSHELL.
2.  Insert the diskette labeled Audiovation Installation - Windows Disk #1   into the A: drive.
3.  From the Windows screen, click on File, then click on Run. The Run dialog box appears.
4.  On the Command line type: A:\setup , then click on OK. A series of screens will  lead you through the installation choices.

1.  Start with the Audiovation Adapter/A hardware installed, Audiovation software installed, Windows running, and all  other Windows applications closed.
2.  Insert the diskette labeled Mwave TalkWorks by AudioFile into the A: drive.
3.  From the Windows Program Manager click on File, then click on Run. The Run dialog box appears.
4.  On the Command Line type : A:\setup then click on OK. A series of screens will lead you through the installation and  will restart Windows when the installation is complete.

1.  Procedure 1  installs the OS/2 Mwave Manager. It is not optional. Both OS/2 Audiovation applications and WIN-OS/2 Audivation  applications will need the Mwave Manager.
2.  Procedure 2  installs the Audiovation OS/2 MMPM software. It is optional. You must follow procedure 2 if you intend to run Audiovation  applications under OS/2 MMPM. You may skip procedure 2 if only Audiovation WIN-OS/2 applications will be run.
3.  Procedure 3  installs the Audiovation WIN-OS/2 software. It is optional. You must follow procedure 3 if you intend to run Audiovation  applications under WIN-OS/2. You may skip procedure 3 if only OS/2 Audiovation applications will be run.

                   Procedure 1.
        Installing the OS/2 Mwave Manager
    (Not Optional - Required to run All Apps.)
    Determine if OS/2 MMPM/2 is Installed
         Install MMPM/2, if Not Installed.
    Using the diskette labeled:
         Audiovation Installation - OS/2 Mwave Manager
    From the OS/2 Command Line Enter:
         a:setup
                   Procedure 2.

     (Optional - Only required to run OS/2 Apps.)
     Using the diskette labeled:
          Audiovation Installation - OS/2 MMPM
    From the OS/2 Command Line Enter:
         a:setup
    Shut Down OS/2 and Restart Computer
                   Procedure 3.
    Installing the Audiovation WIN-OS/2 Software
  (Optional - Only required to run WIN-OS/2 Apps.)
    Determine if WIN-OS/2 is Installed
         Install WIN-OS/2, if Not Installed.
    Using the diskette labeled:
         Audiovataion Installation - Windows
    From the WIN-OS/2 File RUN Dialog Box,
         Enter: a:setup
    Check/Adjust WIN-OS/2 Settings
         OS/2 Desktop Startup
         WIN-OS/2 Full Screen Startup
         Migrated Programs
    Close and Reopen WIN-OS/2

Diagnostic Testing

There are two ways to test the Audiovation Adapter/A. You can use the Test Your Computer  on the system Reference diskette, or you can use the atand alone diagnostic program AUDDIAG.EXE  located on the Audiovation Utilities/Options diskette.
