Writing the VPD Data
The EEPROM on the inverter card contains the vital product data (VPD), a
system unit serial number and a planar board serial number.
When you replace the inverter card, restore the system unit serial number and the planar
board serial number using the VPD Data Utility.
The serial number label is attached to the computer.
The planar board serial number is located by the memory card slots.
Edit the batch file in the diskette A:\active.bat
- VPD_BUILDID
- VPD_BOXSERIAL
- VPD_PLANARSERIAL
