Fan ASM Checkout

To check the Fan ASM, do the following:

For TP 390E - (2626)
  1.  Boot from and start PC Doctor. (See 'PC Doctor System Diagnostics' for details.)
  2.  Select Diagnostics.
  3.  Select Other Devices.
  4.  Select Fan.
  5.  Follow the instructions in the message window.


For TP 390/i Series 1700 - (2626, 2627)

  1.  Boot from the diagnostics diskette and start the Fan ASM Diagnostics.
  2.  Follow the description in the window. If the test detects the Fan ASM problem, replace it.
