The Fn key works independently from the operating system.
The operating system obtains the status through the system
management interface to control the system.

| Ctrl+Alt+F11 | Accesses the system setup screen from any full-screen DOS program. |
| Fn+F2 | Displays the fuel gauge. |
| Fn+F3 | Standby mode invocation. |
| Fn+F4 | Suspend mode invocation. |
| Fn+F7 | Toggles LCD/SIMUL/CRT. |
| Fn+F8 | Toggles normal/reverse video. |
| Fn+F12 | Hibernation mode invocation. |
| Fn+PgUp | Speaker enable. |
| Fn+PgDn | Speaker disable. |
