1030 Diskette Drive

 
  1.  Check that the backup  and standby batteries are seated correctly to prevent  damage to the diskette drive.
  2.  Do not put any pressure on the diskette drive cover.  Remove the diskette drive exactly as shown in the figure.
  3.  Make sure that a diskette is not installed in the drive.  Removing the drive with a diskette installed causes  bending or damaging the eject button.

 

After replacing the diskette drive, latch the removal strap into the correct position.
