REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES System Board Components Heat sink and Processor Removal 1 Perform preparation procedures. 2 Remove the chassis. 3 Remove the power supply. 4 Locate the heat sink clip and release the clip from the heat sink . 5 Lift the heat sink lever and remove the heat sink from the system board. 6 Lift the socket lever 5 and remove the processor 4 from the socket. Replacement To replace the heat sink and processor, reverse this procedure.
