To remove the stiffener reinforce bracket, complete the following steps:

Removing the Screw from the Plastic Subpanel Assembly

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly.

2. Remove the screw located under bottom of the unit near the battery pack which secures the plastic subpanel assembly to the chassis as shown.

3. Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad.

4. Remove the keyboard.

5. Remove the heatspreader.
