Removing the Expansion Card

Removal
- Perform the preparation
procedures.
- Remove the side access panel.
- Turn the computer on its side (open
side facing up) and locate the expansion card(s).
- Remove the screw
securing the expansion card.
- Pull the expansion card using
a gentle rocking motion from the connector on the system board
.
Replacement
Important: The expansion card rear
connector must be properly inserted into the rear chassis slot to ensure the card is
properly seated into the connector on the system board.
- Align the card with connector
on the system board and rear connector slots on the chassis.
- Replace the screw to secure the
expansion card to the chassis.
