Removal
  1. Remove the Microprocessor/ Heatsink Assembly, continued: 

Press down on the microprocessor/ heatsink assembly clip tab bub1.jpg (5522 bytes) to release the clip from the hook bub2.jpg (5582 bytes) on the microprocessor interface socket.

The microprocessor/ heatsink assembly clip is attached on each side of the microprocessor interface socket.
