Removing the 1394 Card, continued

Removal
- Remove the screw
from the 1394 card.
- Using a gentle rocking (side-to-side)
motion, pull the 1394 card
from the PCI slot on the system board.
Replacement
- Align the 1394 card with the PCI
slot on the system board and with the expansion card rear connector.
Insert the card carefully and firmly into the slot.
- Replace the screw to secure the
1394 card to the chassis.
- Reconnect the 1394 data and power
cable from the Front I/O bracket to the connector on the 1394
card.

IMPORTANT
|
During replacement, the 1394
card rear connector must be properly inserted into the rear chassis slot to ensure the
card is properly seated into the connector on the system board. |
