Warning !: All Intel MMX, Cyrix/IBM M2, AMD K6 and Cyrix/IBM 6x86L are Split-rail CPUs. These CPUs are usually marked as 2.8V or 2.9V. To prevent your m/b or CPU from being damaged, you must use Dual Power CPU voltage setting.

  2. JP28: 2-3 Close.
  3. JP27 (I/O Voltage):
      3.3V : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.
      3.45V : 1-2 close & 3-4 open.
      3.5V : 1-2 open & 3-4 open. (recommended)
  4. JP26 (Core Voltage):
      2.4V : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.
      2.7V : 1-2 close & 3-4 open.
      2.8V : 1-2 open & 3-4 open. (recommended)
Note: For regular Intel, Cyrix/IBM 6x86 & AMD cpu, please use single voltage jumpers setting.

B) AMD K5 CPU.

  1. PR-120 : JP10: close, JP11: open, JP12: close, JP18: close & JP19: open.
  2. PR-133 : JP10: close, JP11: close, JP12: open, JP18: close & JP19: open.
  3. PR-166 : JP10: Close, JP11: Close, JP12: Open, JP18: Close & JP19: Close.

C) 83MHz Setting.

A). AMD X5-133MHz CPU.
  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP17: 1-2 close & 3-4 close.
  3. JP 19: 2-3 close.
  4. Set to 33 Mhz for 133 Mhz.

B). AMD DX4-100SV & AMD DX4-120SV (Enhanced CPU).

  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP17 : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.

C). Cyrix 5x86 - 100GP & Cyrix 5x86 - 120GP.

  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP12: 2-3.
  3. JP17 : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.


R407 (486 VL Deep Green Motherboard with SiS 407 and 471 Chipset)

A). AMD DX4-100SV8B & AMD DX4-120SV8B (Enhanced CPU).
  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP2 : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.

B). AMD X5-133 CPU.

  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP2: 1-2 close & 3-4 close.
  3. JP13: 1-2 close.
  4. JP15: 2-3 close.
  5. Set to 33 Mhz for 133 MHz.

C). Cyrix 5x86 - 100GP & Cyrix 5x86 - 120GP.

  1. Set as P24D.
  2. JP2 : 1-2 close & 3-4 close.
  3. JP4 : 2-3 close.
  4. JP15: open.

D). Intel Pentium Overdirve CPU (P24T).

  1. Set as P24T.
  2. Cut one end of risistor 24 (R24) - Located between VESA Slot and CPU Socket.
Note: 1. R24 will not be needed in any other CPU.
Note: 2. P24T is not recommended to be used in R407 board.
