1 You will need a bootable floppy disk. If you have one skip to step 3 otherwise put a blank floppy disk into the a: drive. 
2 Click on START -> PROGRAMS -> MS-DOS PROMPT -> at the C:\WINDOWS prompt type SYS A:
3 Copy af786.exe and S6VM7ap.f3b to your A: floppy disk.
4 Restart the computer with the floppy disk in.
5 At the A:\> prompt type af786.exe S6VM7ap.f3b
6 After it is done, take out the floppy disk and reboot.
7 While the system is booting up hit delete.
8 Arrow down to autoconfig with optimal settings and press enter.
9 Load high performance settings (y) for yes and press enter.
10 Press F10 to save settings and exit.

When the system boots up now, under the American Megatrends logo it should read F3B
