BIOS release 1.3 for  IS-50  V1.0


Release information:

0. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update IS-50 BIOS; 
   and also note that IS-50 has BIOS write-protect function enabled. 
   Please setup BIOS protect control to "Unprotected" in Advanced 
   BIOS Feature in BIOS if you would like to update the BIOS.
1. Fixed the problem that system reboots when security password
   is set.
2. Revise wording in PC health.
3. Enhance IDE port detection.
4. Enhance shuttle over-clocking ability.
5. Fixed the problem that system reboots when certain VGA card 
   is used (nVidia FX5600 and FX5900).
6. BIOS compile date: 10/02/2003.

0. 請使用更新程式 AWDFLASH v8.24F 更新 IS-50 BIOS。本主機板具有 BIOS 寫入
   保護功能。 請注意! 請在更新 BIOS前先在 BIOS 的 Advanced BIOS Feature 
   選單中，將 BIOS protect control 設定成 "Unprotected"。
1. 修正當使用者使用 "Security Item" 時 , 系統將會自動重置。
2. 修正 PC Health內風扇顯示字串。
3. 提高 IDE port 硬碟偵測。
4. 提升旋鈕超頻的功能。
5. 修正特定的 VGA 卡 (nVidia FX5600 and FX5900) 會造成系統
   重新開機的問題。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using 
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "IS5013.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches 

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data 
  via jumper before restarting system please.
