FIX:

Upgrade 10/9/98 version of netservr.exe to 12/1/98 or later version by installing the latest FixPak.

FixPak IPO8530 is available from:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/lan/fixes/
change to the "lsv5.0_uni-smp/english-us/" directory
and get "ip08530"


DETAILS:

There is a known problem with the 10/9/98 version of netservr.exe in OS/2 Warp Server contained in FixPaks IP08528 or older which can cause severe network and server problems.
These problems include, but are not limited to server hangs and failed connections.
The 12/1/98 and later versions of netservr.exe corrects this problem and are available in FixPaks IP08529 and later.
