Note: For directions on executing memory dump type "help trap dump" at OS/2 command prompt.

WORKAROUND:

Obtain memory dump by executing a process dump, which can be executed by performing the following (example):

  1.  ensure following line is in config.sys:
      trapdump=r0,d:,pd

  2.  from command line type
      procdump on /l:d:
      procdump set /d:paddr(all)

NOTES:

  1.  The statement, "trapdump=r0,d:,pd", in the config.sys causes the system to attempt a process dump.
  2.  The first procdump statement specifies drive to dump to; in this case d drive.
     No special labels are required for the partition. (ensure there is sufficient space on partition).
  3.  The second statement specifies that all the address space for all the processes loaded.

For detailed directions on setting and executing a process dump, refer to the readme.dbg file located in FixPack 35 or higher.
