The PCI 4 slot shares a single master with the on-board SCSI interface.
If there is an on-board SCSI installed on your system board, the PCI 4 slot
can only serve as a slave.
Note that most PCI Ethernet cards should function as bus masters. Most PCI
VGA cards, on the other hand, function as bus salves. For this reason, if
there is an on-board SCSI on your system board, be sure not to install Ethernet
cards in the PCI 4 slot.
