default community string is "public". We recommend that you select the default

and go to the next wizard page.

You can add a community string of your choice depending on your network layout.

adds your entry in the Communities list box.

remove. Then click on the Remove button.

3. Click the Next button to go the next wizard page. This page will guide

you in adding an authorized management station within the "public" community.

We recommend you not to change anything in this page and just accept the

defaults. Then skip to the next wizard page.

service. Click on Enable Authentication Traps button. A dot mark should appear

on the button. Then add the trap destination IP address in the desired community.

Enabling/Disabling Trap Service:

Click the Enable Authentication Traps button to enable the trap service. When

4. Troubleshooting abnormal service layer database

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sometimes , the SL database crashes for unknown reasons. When database crashes,

the service layer cannot function properly and error messages appear every time

you start your machine. When this happens, you have to do some troubleshooting

to fix the service layer. Troubleshooting may become a hard task especially if

you do not have enough technical knowledge on the operating principle of the

service layer. However, in this ADM version, this problem has been eliminated.

You can fix your service layer without going through the detailed technical

troubleshooting process. All you have to do is just double-click the

Troubleshooting icon, restart the machine and ADM will do the rest of the process.
