AP5C/P Bus Master IDE Driver Installation Readme







AP5C/P Mainboard contains Intel 430FX PCIset which utilize high-performance



Bus Master IDE function. With driver installed, it will provide the optimal



throughput for your HDD.







[Installation]







Diskette : AP5C/P Intel 430FX PCIset Bus Master IDE Driver Version 1.0(1.44MB)



Contains : 4 Files (Details as follow)







 1. Readme.txt



 2. Bmide_95.exe (Window95 Bus Master IDE driver Package)



 3. Bmide_nt.exe (WindowNT V3.5 or V3.51 Bus Master IDE driver Package)



 4. Bmideos2.exe (IBM OS/2 2.x or Warp* 3.x Bus Master IDE driver Package)







[Installation Procedure]







 1. Confirm the Operating System installed in your system. (Window95 , Window



    NT , OS/2)



 2. Create a tempory directory such as C:\TEMP on your hard drive.



 3. Select proper driver package for your Operating System and copy the driver



    from driver's diskette to the temporary directory on your hard drive.



 4. Under your tempory directory, execute the driver package (Bmide???.exe).



    It will expand the package into 5 files as below :







    a. Setup.exe



    b. Setup.ins



    c. Setup.lgo



    d.~ins0762.lib



    e. Piixdrv.z







 5. Run Setup.exe and follow the guideline.



 6. Please make sure that you will follow the step of "read readme.txt" as the



    guideline instructed.
